Farm to Table
Bring the essence of the farmers’ market into your kitchen. In this class we’ll cook with the freshest fruits and vegetables, including those beloved favorites of summer—corn and tomatoes. We’ll show you classic preparations along with some creative new recipes. You’ll also learn how to incorporate high-summer herbs, such as basil, lemongrass, oregano and dill, into seasonal dishes.

Jazz up grilled meats, vegetables and even scoops of ice cream with delicious summer sauces. Perfect when the temperature rises, these sauces showcase fresh ingredients and require minimal prep work. From chutneys and salsas to cooling yogurt sauces and dessert sauces, they’ll add color and flavor to your summer table.

Not ready to take on canning? Learn some simple ways to preserve summer’s bountiful produce: a quick tomato sauce, easy pickled vegetables and delectable jams made with ripe seasonal fruits. We’ll show you the basics so you can capture the fresh flavors of summer.
