A few options for filing your taxes for FREE!

I have had a few people email me about saving some money on getting
their taxes done so I wanted to share with you a few sites that do offer FREE filing.
H&R Block At Home offers FREE preparation, printing and e-filing all from the comfort of your home.
I have used them in the past when my taxes were much simpler, it was very simple to use and you could find information easily if you were unsure about something.

You can also get FREE preparation and e-filing with Turbo Tax Federal Free Edition.
I have heard a lot of good things about them but have never personally used them.
Check out Turbo Tax HERE

If you have a fairly simple tax return then e-filing is the way to go!
These sites will take you step by step through the process and as long as you enter your number correctly they stand behind your return.
Also when you e-file you will get your taxes back in 1-2 weeks instead of 6-8 weeks when you
mail it in.

  1. I use TaxACT online and love it. We've used it for the past few years and our returns are kind of complicated because my husband owns a business. I think the federal return is free and the state one is like $15.
